Today saw the release of the instruction on the 2007 Motu Proprio "Summorum Pontificum."  The instruction is called "Universae Ecclesiae."

Recent appointments include:  Archbishop Fernando Filoni, Sostituto of the Secretariat of State, as Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples; Archbishop Giovanni Becciu, Apostolic Nuncio to Cuba, as Sostituto of the Secretariat of State; and Archbishop Jose Octavio Ruiz Arenas, Vice President of the Pontifical Commission for the Church in Latin America as Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.
